Requirements

Admission to Basic 7(JSS 1) is for students who have finished their Basic Six and will be 11 years at least by the end of academic year of JSS 1.

We want our students to continually seek self improvement; therefore promotion to the next class is based on student’s performance. The target we set for our students is to aim at making 60% in their entire subjects. PJP graduates her students after they have fulfilled the minimum requirement of sitting for the Senior School Certificate Examination and strict faithfulness to the school rules and regulation.

  1. Admission Process

    We accept transfers into Basic 8 through SSS 1 provided the do well in our Entrance/Evaluation Examination, provide their transcript of study or their last term’s result and the transfer certificate from their previous school. Students who are seeking admission into SSS 1 must provide their BECE result or evidence of sitting for the examination.

  2. Exam Centers & Date

    Our entrance examinations comes up every 3RD saturday of March annually, and our examination centers are:

    • Pope John Paul II School Premesis
    • CIWA Port Harcourt
    • St. Molumba Parish Owerri
